This is some body text.
Despite the wind and the rain, I love this time of year.
I love the extra daylight and being able to spend more time outside in the evenings. I love the weather slowly starting to warm and not feeling the need to wear a down jacket. Most of all though, I love all the trees which are in blossom and the enormous variety of flowers that are bursting forth with vibrant colour. It’s like nothing can hold them back! It’s like the Earth itself is celebrating the change of season. It is truly beautiful!
It reminds me of the when Jesus was on his way into Jerusalem and the disciples start to cry out “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Pharisees told Jesus to rebuke the disciples, and Jesus replied “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”
Every year in spring, the earth which God created, celebrates with its vibrancy on full display. As you notice the flowers and trees in blossom, remember the creator of them. That he is the God who came to us in Jesus Christ. Remember that
Jesus’ arrival marked something new which was happening.
A new season was dawning.
And if the people didn’t cry out, the earth would have.
