Ministers Message 8th September 2019

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever.
Amen.

As I was reflecting on the Lord’s Prayer recently, the corporate nature of it jumped out at me. It reminded me that we are part of a body of believers, not just at Papakura East or Hunua but far beyond.

We might want to read the Prayer as an individual, applying it just to ourselves, but how does it change when we think about it as a group?
