I’ve been listening to a song by Justin Bieber recently, yes Justin Bieber, called ‘Let me love you’. In many way’s it’s your typical pop song with its catchy tune, which just goes around and around in your head, and somewhat romantic words to catch the hearts of impressionable young people. However listening to the chorus I heard what could be considered God’s words. ‘Don’t you give up, I won’t give up, Let me love you, Let me love you’. I wouldn’t go reading too much into the song, however I believe that God is always crying out to us saying ‘Let me love you’.

So consider in what ways do you need to let God love you? But also consider that God expresses love in a way which challenges our popular understanding of love.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
