Minister’s Message 2nd June 2019

I was gazing out at some hills this week, and marvelling at their beauty.

As I did, I started to wonder what it would be like to stand on top of them and what I would see from that vantage point.

As I pondered this thought, my eye drifted towards the valleys between the hills I pictured myself standing on. The paths out of those valleys wouldn’t be easy to follow, and at points the depths to which they went, were hidden from sun light.

My mind then flicked to Psalm 23 where it says even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.

Getting to where we want to be, can be difficult; there can be hidden obstacles, the paths we have to walk might not be easy, and at points it may seem like God’s love isn’t present in our lives.

But remember Psalm 23, which tells us that even in the darkest of places God is there with you, and will not leave you.
