Minister’s Message 18th November 2018

A couple of weeks ago, I prayed in the service for a Pakistani Christian person who was wrongly convicted of blasphemy!

Shortly after that Sunday, the Pakistani High Court acquitted her with a very comprehensive account of why she was acquitted, but radicals have stirred up trouble wanting her to be hanged anyway.

There is a petition you can sign online, to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and a number of other world leaders. It is asking that they intervene and assure her and her family safe passage to Spain where she has applied for asylum. There is more information in the link below.

We are so blessed with basic freedoms. This lady has remained faithful to Jesus for 9 years in a prison with the threat of death for that period. The least we can do is to ask for a safe passage for her.
