PEPC PlayGroup

We are a volunteer group that is part of the mission of Papakura East Presbyterian Church to the community of Papakura and beyond. We aim to provide a safe, friendly, welcoming environment where children can play, grow and learn and parents/carers can make new friends and find support.

Playgroup provides a wide and exciting range of both indoor and outdoor activities in our spacious hall and fenced outdoor play area (both grass and soft surfce). Also a Parent's library that has a range of books, DVDs and Videos. We have a friendly group of parents and caregivers.

We often have a waiting list as demand for places is always high.

Our cultural mix spreads the breadth of the world with attendees originating from Japan, Korea, South Africa, South America, Germany, Holland as well as NZ European, Maori and Pacific Islanders. Dads attend playgroup too.

Surrogate grandparents play an important role in supporting busy mums and our morning tea helpers bless us.

It is awesome to see families from many walks of life arrive week after week. We share each others joys and sorrows. We aim to dwell among and share the heart of Christ even if it's only a cheery smile and a listening ear!
